Managing Director, Battery Ventures
Roger invests in great entrepreneurs building innovative companies across the software and consumer landscape. His current portfolio companies include 6Sense, Blue Jeans Network, Boost Media, BrightEdge, Earnest, Entelo, Gainsight, Gogobot, HotelTonight, Live Intent, Lotame, Narrative Science, Platfora, PrimeRevenue, SumAll, Upsight and Vera.
Before joining Battery, Roger spent 10 years as an entrepreneur and operator. Most recently, he was a co-founder of Corio, a leading managed-service provider that was acquired by IBM. At Corio, Roger oversaw all business development activities and later became a general manager of the e-commerce business unit. Prior to Corio, Roger was the manager of internet products at Edify Corporation. Roger was also the co-founder and president of NetMarket, an online consumer internet service that was acquired by Cendant Corporation.
Managing Director, Sutter Hill Ventures
Stefan joined Sutter Hill Ventures from Juniper Networks where he was Executive Vice President of the Platform Systems Division, responsible for the entire portfolio of routing, switching, and Wireless LAN products. Prior to Juniper, Stefan worked at Cisco Systems leading the Enterprise routing and security business.
Stefan started his career at Juniper Networks as part of its founding engineering team (employee number 33). During this time from 1997-2004, he held multiple leadership positions in silicon and system engineering as well as product management.
Managing Director, Leslie Ventures
Mark Leslie is managing director of Leslie Ventures, a private investment company, and serves on the boards of two public companies, six private companies, and three nonprofit organizations.
Leslie was the founding Chairman and CEO of Veritas Software. Mark currently serves on the board of Model N Corporation (NYSE: MODN), and a number of privately held high-technology corporations, including Big Switch, Interana, Liquid Robotics, Nebula, Nutanix, PernixData, Pure Storage, Skybox Imaging, Model N Software (NYSE: MODN), SugarCRMa and Zerto.
Founder and General Partner, Clear Ventures
Chris is a founder and General Partner of Clear, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm built to help startup teams win in business technology and services.
Prior to founding Clear in 2014, Chris spent 14 years as an early stage technology investor at Sequoia Capital and US Venture Partners. He was also co-founder and Lead Architect of broadband access pioneer Roadrunner, now known as Time Warner Cable Internet. Roadrunner grew to 14 million subscribers, over $4 Billion in 2015 revenue, and is the key driver of Charter Communication’s $56.7 billion acquisition of Time Warner Cable.
A life-long learner, Chris earned a B.S.E.E. with distinction as a Massachusetts Board of Regents Honor Scholar and an M.S.E.E from the University of Lowell, an M.S. Telecommunications Engineering and an M.E. Engineering Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder
As CEO and Co-founder of Vera, Ajay is building the next great security company for a world without borders. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in enterprise software. Most recently, Ajay co-founded RAPsphere, a cutting-edge mobile security company which was acquired by AppSense in 2012. He also served as Vice President of Products and Services at Mashery, Inc. (acquired by Intel) where Ajay built-out all products, engineering and SaaS/cloud operations. Prior to Mashery, Ajay served as Vice President of Products and Solutions at newScale, Inc. (acquired by Cisco). He has also held key product management, software engineering and consulting roles at Corio (acquired by IBM) and Oracle.
Chief Technology & Product Officer and Co-founder
Prakash is the chief technology & product officer and co-founder of Vera. In this role, he oversees all products and technology, and is responsible for developing the overall product strategy and technical vision of the company.
Prakash is an entrepreneur who is passionate about building game-changing products. He most recently served as CTO and co-founder at RAPsphere, which was sold to AppSense in 2012. Prakash received his PhD from Cornell University and earned his Bachelors from IIT Madras, both in Computer Science.
