Alex Burkardt, Vice President of Field Engineering at VERA, is a lifelong technologist with nearly two decades of experience in cyber security. Most recently Alex was the Field CTO and Vice President of Sales Engineering at Cybereason, a market leader in the next-generation endpoint space. After starting his career in the US Navy and the intelligence community tackling nation state threats and understanding the impact of these adversaries in the public sector, Alex pivoted into private industry to focus on emerging technologies in the startup ecosystem.
