Carlos Delatorre

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of Vera, Carlos brings 20 years of leadership experience building and scaling some of the most successful organizations in the industry. Most recently, Carlos led the global sales organization at MongoDB, the world’s fastest-growing database ecosystem, and first enterprise database company to successfully IPO in 26 years. He also served as vice president of Sales at ClearSlide, Inc., where he drove the enterprise sales strategy and business growth. Prior to ClearSlide, Carlos served as vice president of sales for DynamicOps, (acquired by VMware). He has also held senior sales leadership roles at BMC Software, BladeLogic, IMlogic and Oblix. Carlos holds an MBA in finance from Troy University and a B.A. in Psychology, English and Philosophy from the University of Miami.

Wesley Yeremenko

Chief Technology Officer

As Vera’s Senior Vice President of Engineering, Wesley is a recognized technologist with deep expertise delivering high-scale SaaS systems for nearly 20 years. Most recently, Wesley was Head of Advertising Technology at Adobe Primetime, providing architectural and operational guidance for the world’s most-viewed media platforms including the Olympic Games, the Super Bowl, March Madness, and the US elections. Prior to Adobe, Wesley joined OpenDNS in 2006 as its first VP of Engineering handling trillions of real-time queries per day across the globe.

Ramon J. Peypoch

SVP Products

A proven leader in the security industry, Ramon leads Vera's product strategy, management and market delivery. Prior to Vera, he was part of the founding team of ProtectWise, Inc. (acquired by Verizon). Earlier he was Vice President, Web Protection at McAfee. With a track record of creating category-leading security products and companies, he has held executive product and business development positions at Proofpoint, Websense and Symantec. He serves as a Board Member for Abusix, Inc. (network abuse and threat mitigation), a Trustee of the Keys School in Palo Alto, CA and serves on the board of Palo Alto Girls Softball. Ramon holds a M.B.A. in Finance & Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School and a B.A. in World Politics and Spanish from Hamilton College.

Bill Gadala

Chief Financial Officer

Experienced at leading organizations through change and scaling operations, Bill Gadala is the CFO at VERA overseeing the Finance & Accounting, Human Resources and Sales Operations functions. Most recently, Bill was the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis at Innovative Interfaces, a Private Equity-backed software company. Prior to that, he led the FP&A team through the IPO of FXalliance, a Venture-Backed software company and led the integration of the Finance function at Softek and Internet Security Systems while at IBM. Bill holds his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Vice President Global Alliance

As Vera’s Vice President of Global Alliances, Rich brings more than 25 years of sales and alliances experience to Vera and is responsible for growing and managing Vera's global ecosystem of GTM and Technology Partners. Over the course of his career he built and led numerous sales and business development teams at ForgeRock, Cisco, Vignette, and Remedy. Rich most recently, he served as SnapLogic’s Global Vice President of Strategic Alliance where he led the global partner organization. Rich holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Maryland and currently resides in Danville, CA. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as running, biking, and occasionally fumbling around on the guitar.

Alex Burkardt

VP of Solutions Engineering

Alex Burkardt, Vice President of Solutions Engineering at VERA, is a lifelong technologist with nearly two decades of experience in cyber security. Most recently Alex was the Field CTO and Vice President of Sales Engineering at Cybereason, a market leader in the next-generation endpoint space. After starting his career in the US Navy and the intelligence community tackling nation state threats and understanding the impact of these adversaries in the public sector, Alex pivoted into private industry in order to focus on emerging technologies in the startup ecosystem. Despite the ever-evolving nature of attacks and the constant expansion of the threat landscape, Alex's unique background and understanding of adversary tactics techniques and procedures have been foundational to the outsized impact he has had on the evolution and application of advanced tools and technologies in the cyber security arena. When not tackling tough cyber problems, Alex enjoys working on technologies and software in the Bitcoin space. He believes that the nuanced approach to applied cryptography that powers cryptocurrencies will have positive long-term impacts on difficult issues that surround digital trust, commerce, and access to financial tools. Alex holds a BS in Information Technology/Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy.
