Vera Named a Finalist for the Super Bowl of Security

This February, San Francisco and Silicon Valley will celebrate not one, but two Super Bowls. The first one features the Broncos and the Panthers, meeting in the 50th championship game for the NFL. Anticipation for the game is high, and the city is rolling out the red carpet for the fans.

But it’s the second Super Bowl that the Vera team is more excited about. Each year at the RSA Conference, the world’s leading information security event, RSA and TechCrunch sponsor the Innovation Sandbox contest. This competition celebrates out-of-the-box ideas and showcases new, novel security technologies. And, I’m excited to announce that out of the hundreds of companies who applied, Vera was named one of the Top 10 Finalists for the prize.

We’re honored to be a part of this group, alongside innovators Bastille Networks, illusive networks, Menlo Security, Phantom, Prevoty, ProtectWise, SafeBreach, Skyport Systems, and Versa Networks. With solutions ranging from advanced threat detection, to post-breach defenses, and a focus on protecting new networks and data in use, it’s a new class of security leaders charting the future of enterprise protection.

The competition for “RSA Conference 2016’s Most Innovative Startup” should be intense and illuminating, and I hope you can join us for this special event. The event kicks off live at 1:00 PM Monday, February 29th – the first day of the conference – in the Viewing Point at Gateway. Here’s a link to the full agenda, and every attendee at RSA is welcome.

Not headed to RSA? We’d be happy to share a private demo with you, or you can catch the video at rsaconference.com after the event. Check back here for any breaking updates.
