Protecting the Future of Work at #BoxWorks 2018
In the spirit of finding new ways to help teams work together, every year BoxWorks draws an eclectic mix of industry leaders to shape the future of how businesses work today. For industry innovators like Slack, Microsoft, IBM and Okta, BoxWorks has become the enterprise forum to spark dynamic conversation and learn first-hand how some of the world’s leading companies use Box to more efficiently power the way they work.
Year over year, we’re seeing more companies harnessing the cloud to share ideas, collaborate and get work done faster, but one fact still rings true: Security is, and will remain, at the forefront of innovation. This year we’re excited to be back in the Partner Pavilion leading the conversation amongst Box’s community of customers and partners, offering practical insight into how teams can better secure their content and cloud collaboration workflows — in and outside of Box.
Aside from personally looking forward to this year’s closing keynote with NBA champion and Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr (Go dubs!), here are three things I’m looking forward to this year:
1. Networking with the best & the brightest. The Partner Pavilion, where you’ll find the Vera team (stop by!), is the best showcase for new and exciting enterprise technology. You’ll get a chance to meet visionary startups alongside industry giants, solving emerging problems around content security, real-time collaboration and imaging. Where else will you see AT&T, Centrify, IBM, Microsoft, Google Apps, and Netskope, all in one place?
2. Discovering new ways to collaborate safer and smarter. Protecting the flow of information is one of the perennial conversations at BoxWorks each year. When a company jumps feet first into the cloud, they need to shift the way they think about data and content security. This year’s Security and Data Protection track will feature CISOs and Chief Risk Officers from around the world, sharing their successes and challenges protecting information–both in and outside the organization. Be sure to stop by the Vera booth to learn how we’re helping companies extend content security, access controls, and permissions “through the last mile.”
3. Getting the most out of Box. Automation, increased productivity, and simplifying user workflows. These are just some of the many benefits of harnessing the power of the cloud for content collaboration. Of course we’re looking forward to Box’s many announcements, but we’re also looking forward to unveiling some exciting developments we’ve been working on at Vera. Be sure to stay tuned for updates as we near BoxWorks!
If you’re headed to San Francisco later this month, be sure to visit the Vera booth (#S6) in the Partner Pavilion or schedule a meeting here to learn more. Safe travels!
