Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder
As CEO and Co-founder of Vera, Ajay is building the next great security company for a world without borders. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in enterprise software. Most recently, Ajay co-founded RAPsphere, a cutting-edge mobile security company which was acquired by AppSense in 2012. He also served as Vice President of Products and Services at Mashery, Inc. (acquired by Intel) where Ajay built-out all products, engineering and SaaS/cloud operations. Prior to Mashery, Ajay served as Vice President of Products and Solutions at newScale, Inc. (acquired by Cisco). He has also held key product management, software engineering and consulting roles at Corio (acquired by IBM) and Oracle.
Chief Technology & Product Officer and Co-founder
Prakash is the chief technology & product officer and co-founder of Vera. In this role, he oversees all products and technology, and is responsible for developing the overall product strategy and technical vision of the company.
Prakash is an entrepreneur who is passionate about building game-changing products. He most recently served as CTO and co-founder at RAPsphere, which was sold to AppSense in 2012. Prakash received his PhD from Cornell University and earned his Bachelors from IIT Madras, both in Computer Science.
Vice President of Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering, Peeyush is responsible for operating and growing Vera’s engineering presence on a global scale. A seasoned enterprise software leader, Peeyush has more than 20 years experience delivering software products across SaaS, mobile, and security applications, bringing a unique blend of product management, QA and engineering to Vera. He has lived and worked in India and Silicon Valley, working for leading organizations, such as Cisco, Oracle and Corio. Peeyush graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
Chief Customer Officer
As Chief Customer Officer at Vera, Harnish plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and success across our global customer base. An entrepreneurial leader with 20-plus years of experience selling and delivering enterprise software globally, Harnish joins Vera from CipherCloud where he led customer enablement, customer support and customer success. Prior to CipherCloud, Harnish served as Vice President and General Manager within Oracle’s Cloud Applications Consulting team.
He also previously had responsibilities for managing global customer success and services operations at Taleo (now part of Oracle), Cognizant Technology Solutions, SumTotal Systems, Emagia, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and TATA.
Vice President of Customer Success
Ian McWilton has spent over 15 years building and scaling high-performing engineering and customer facing teams. He excels at helping the organization be at once both innovative and future proof. In his external facing positions, Ian builds high-growth customer-focused teams for technical support, professional services, training, customer success management and presales engineering. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Staffordshire University.
Vice President of Worldwide Sales
As Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Vera, Andy brings an exceptional pedigree of success as a strong and formidable sales leader. Andy joins Vera from Appcelerator, where he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and before that served as Director of Sales at Good Technology. Andy also held strategic sales roles at OpenPages (an IBM Company) and Callidus Software.
Andy is also an avid SCUBA diver and world traveler, founding a charity to assist the preservation of the Roatan Marine Park, Honduras. Andy attended USMA, West Point and has a BA from Florida International University and an MBA from Temple University.
Vice President of Marketing
Grant is Vice President of Marketing at Vera, where he’s focused on helping global businesses secure and share critical information with customers and partners. An expert in trusted collaboration, enterprise SaaS, and demand generation, Grant has helped brands like Fidelity Investments, UPS, USAA, and Viacom design and deliver elegant, intuitive, and useful solutions to their customers and employees. With over fifteen years of experience in marketing strategy, positioning and product design, Grant has built highly efficient product and marketing teams at Box, Microsoft and Tellme Networks, with a focus on unique positioning and rich customer-driven storytelling.
Vice President of Finance & People Operations
Carmen has over 20 years of experience in finance, human resources, operations, M&A, international business, change management and global financial system implementations. Prior to working in Silicon Valley, she held various senior finance roles in Italy, France, Africa, the United Kingdom and the Middle East while working for a multinational telecommunications company. Carmen has a bachelor in Accounting from McGill University, a CPA-CMA from Canada, and a dual MBA degree from the University of California, Berkeley and Columbia University. She is fluent in Italian and French.
